In Spain, Verdejo is synonymous with a delicious, light, and especially fruity white wine. And that's certainly the case with this Analivia Verdejo Seleccion. This wine is made at the Pagos del Rey winery in Rueda. Thanks to the winemakers' expertise and care, a tropical wine has been created that is delightfully refreshing.
The quality of Pago del Rey
Pagos del Rey is a leading Spanish winery with a considerable reputation for producing high-quality wines. Founded in 2008, the winery is part of the prestigious González Byass Group, one of the most respected wine producers in Spain. They have several vineyards and wineries spread across various Spanish wine regions, including the Rueda. The Duero River flows through this region from east to west, positively influencing the aging process. Winters are long and short, and summers are hot and dry. Plenty of challenges, therefore, for achieving perfect grape cultivation. The Verdejo grapes are harvested early in the morning to preserve their natural freshness and aromas. After harvesting, the grapes are carefully pressed to extract the juice. The juice is then left in contact with the skins for several hours. The juice is then transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Here, the temperature is carefully controlled to ensure the wine retains its fresh and vibrant character. Finally, the wine is aged further on the lees. The smell and taste of Analivia Verdejo Seleccion
The Analivia Verdejo Seleccion has a bright yellow color with hints of gold. The nose reveals refined aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, such as juicy mandarins, pineapple, and grapefruit, accompanied by white flowers and subtle spicy notes. The aromas are clearly evident on the palate. Pleasantly fresh thanks to well-balanced acidity and a refreshing finish. A harmonious wine with both fruity and spicy notes that combine to create a lively yet accessible wine.Product details
