We begin all the way back in 1965 when California winemaker Davis Bynum first made a glass of Barefoot wine. In his garage, he created a new generation of wines, prioritizing softness and refinement. The name Barefoot comes from the first pressing, which was carried out with bare feet. Barefoot wines truly took off in 1986 when visionary entrepreneurs Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey took over. He honored the name and added a footprint to the label, a kind of thank-you to California winemaker Davis Bynum. Since then, the wines have become immensely popular worldwide, and this white Pinot Grigio is especially popular.
