The vineyards of this Champagne house have been in the hands of the Baron family for centuries. However, the winery itself has only existed for a relatively short time. It all began in 1961, when Frenchman Gabriel Baron and Spanish beauty Dolores Fuente married. Following this wedding, the newlyweds received a one-hectare vineyard from Gabriel's father. In 1967, they decided to establish the Baron Fuente Foundation and to produce Champagne through it. Now, almost 55 years later, Champagne Baron Fuente covers approximately 38 hectares, and the champagne house has managed to grow every year.

As mentioned, the winery owns a whopping 38 hectares. These impressive vineyards are home to the classic grape varieties widely planted in Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunoir.
