Buy or order Black Stallion wine

The robust black stallion on the label already gives the winery away: we're dealing with wines from Black Stallion, hailing from the enchanting Napa Valley. A leading winery with a clear vision, they spare no expense or effort to achieve their goal: to produce the finest wines in California!

The Californian wines of Black Stallion

Rugged and adventurous; just like the winery's name. Black Stallion's story is unique and incomparable. The winery is located on the famous Silverado Trail, near Napa Valley. It occupies a former riding stable. In its heyday, the Silverado Horseman's Center housed more than 3,000 horses. After closing, it remained vacant for years, until the early 2000s. The Indelicato family, the driving force behind Black Stallion, renovated the stable and opened an impressive winery there.

The wines of Black Stallion from Napa Valley

Black Stallion is located in the heart of California's wine region: Napa Valley. This region breathes wine. It's situated just north of the vibrant city of San Francisco, surrounding the village of Napa. The current significant growth of wine production here is no small feat. The phylloxera epidemic threw a wrench in the works. The implementation of the 18th Amendment, Prohibition, also played a significant role. However, innovative wineries managed to survive and ensure Napa Valley became the beating heart of California's wine industry.

The vineyards of Black Stallion

Black Stallion boasts a whopping 32 hectares of vineyards. They are located in the most beautiful part of Napa Valley, so success is guaranteed. Besides the blue grape varieties Pinot Noir and the king of California, Cabernet Sauvignon, there is also ample space for the queen of California, namely the Chardonnay grape. For years, the renowned flagship Black Stallion Chardonnay has been made from this grape. A beloved wine among many wine connoisseurs, thanks in part to its perpetual oak aging.
