Buy or order Bodegas del Jaro wine

Bodega del Jaro is located in Pesquera del Duero, the famous village in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. The winery is owned by the Osborne family. The estate, called Finca El Quiñón, covers a total of 108 hectares. Of these, 65 hectares are planted with vines: 60 hectares of the region's signature grape, Tempranillo, and an additional 2.5 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The bodega, where the grapes are processed and the wines mature, is located on the Finca itself. The vineyards benefit from the region's altitude, between 745 and 800 meters, and the cool nighttime temperatures, especially in autumn, produce grapes and wines with intense aromatic power. The harvest is entirely traditional, with all grapes picked by hand. They are transported to the bodega in crates weighing no more than 15 kilos to prevent crushing during transport. Upon arrival, the grapes undergo further selection on selection tables, ensuring only the finest fruit is used for the wines.
