The vineyards for this pleasant Chardonnay are situated at an altitude of no less than 1200 meters, in the famous Valle de Uco, one of the higher wine regions in Argentina's Mendoza wine region. This produces grapes with sufficient acidity, allowing more than half of the wine to undergo malolactic fermentation. This gives it a wonderfully rich character while also preserving its freshness. The wine is then briefly aged for over six months in oak barrels, a mix of French and American oak. This gives it wonderful power and depth, partly because yields are kept low.
