Buy or order Caliterra wine

A Chilean winery with a turbulent history, it took a while for Caliterra's wines to reach the top spot on the podium. However, they've now held this position for quite some time, and they have no intention of relinquishing it. Caliterra's wines embody Chilean finesse, sky-high quality, and all at a reasonable price. So, try Caliterra's magnificent Chilean wines now.

The Chilean wines of Caliterra

It all began in 1989. The Chadwick family, the Chilean equivalent of the Rothschild and Torres families, decided to establish a new winery. However, they decided to do so together with the Hunuees of the exceptional Franciscan Estate winery in Napa Valley, California. By joining forces, they hoped to elevate Caliterra to the highest level. Unfortunately, this partnership was short-lived, and in 1991, Caliterra Winery returned to the Chadwick family, who owned Errazuriz, among other properties.

The best wine from Caliterra

In 1996, the Chilean-American partnership was revived with the addition of the prestigious Robert Mondavi winery. Chadwick and Mondavi, two major winemakers, succeeded in expanding and developing Caliterra. This partnership lasted until 2004, when the Chadwick family decided to take over the business themselves and invest and innovate extensively. Today, it is one of Chile's leading wineries.

Enjoy the Caliterra wines

Caliterra is a contraction of the phrase "La Calidad de la Terra," which means "Quality of the Earth." At Caliterra, they strive to bring out the best aspects of each grape variety in a fine glass of wine. Their selection primarily consists of single-varietal wines, allowing the individual strength of each grape to be showcased to the consumer. Caliterra's vineyards are located in Valle de Colchagua, a stunning wine region where you'll also find the breathtaking Erruzuriz vineyards.

Why buy Caliterra wine?

These are simply Chilean wines at their very best. Thanks to the Chadwick family's passion, every wine that emerges from their impressive cellars is top-notch. They give you exactly what you need and more. They are everyday wines, yet can also offer tremendous depth. Just look at Caliterra's Tributo wines, for example. Their top-tier line, the Caliterra Edicion Limitada wines, also offer the highest quality. All the elements for a perfect wine are present at Caliterra.

The tastiest Chilean wine from Caliterra

Looking for an accessible and friendly wine? Then choose Caliterra's Reserva wines. They're pleasant and showcase every grape variety grown in Caliterra's vineyards. Caliterra's Tributo wines are the evolution of these wines. They're oaked and have a bit more depth. Ideal for dinner, or for the discerning wine drinker. However, Caliterra also boasts some crown jewels in its lineup. The Caliterra Cenit is craftsmanship of the highest order. It combines all of Caliterra's quality and expertise in an impressive bottle of red wine.
