The Casa Vinicola Campagnola winery was founded in 1886 by Carlo Campagnola. He received his first official recognition as a winemaker in 1907 at an awards ceremony, where he received a gold medal for his recioto wine. The wine cellars, now owned by the Campagnola family for four generations, are located in Valgatara, the heart of the classic Valpolicella region. In addition to the family's own vineyards, the company also has numerous contracts with winemakers from Soave, Bardolino, Valpolicella, and Gambellara, as well as farmers from the province of Apulia. Luigi Campagnola, the current generation of the family, carefully selects the vineyards in these areas. He carefully purchases the finest grapes from the winemakers. Thanks to long-term contracts, he is guaranteed top-quality grapes at a reasonable price. The grapes are pressed in the wine cellars in Valgatara and Apulia, where state-of-the-art equipment is used for winemaking and bottling. Casa Vinicola Campagnola wines are available in several varieties, namely: Custoza, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Della Luna, Gambellara Vigneti Monte Faldeo, and Salento Negroamaro Jonico.
