Castellani

Buy or order Castellani wine

A versatile winery operating in several leading Italian wine regions. Its story began in Montecalvoli, just outside Pisa. However, it now also owns several vineyards outside Tuscany. The vineyards in sunny Puglia and rugged Sicily are particularly prominent in this respect. The winery has built an impressive history; Castellani was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, the winery is known for its affordable, high-quality wines that are incredibly accessible.

The Italian wines of Castellani

One of Castellani's most famous wines is the Campo di Marzo. Unique to this series of Italian wines is that they originate from two wine regions. The Campo di Marzo Primitivo and Campo di Marzo Negroamaro hail from sun-drenched Puglia, located in the heel of the boot. The Campo di Marzo Nero D'Avola and Campo di Marzo Grillo come from the island of Sicily, where both grapes have become indigenous icons. Castellani has done this to plant each grape variety where it produces the finest clusters. This immediately explains the quality of the Campo di Marzo grapes.

The Donna Terra wines from Castellani

Another important wine in Castellani's ever-expanding selection is the Donna Terra wines. The refreshing Donna Terra Pinot Grigio originates from Sicily. The red and rosé varieties hail from Castellani's birthplace: Tuscany. The Donna Terra Sangiovese Rosé, in particular, is a truly invigorating rosé. With the local hero Sangiovese taking center stage, it's no wonder this Italian wine is a feast for the senses.
