The style of Castellane Champagne

Castellne Champagne is characterized by an accessible, refreshing, yet smooth style. Champagne as it should be. No fanfare, no fuss, no frills; simply a world-class champagne. When Castellane came into the hands of the Laurent Perrier Group in 1999, the quality only improved. Over the past 25 years, significant investment has been made in the vineyards, cellars, and processes, and this has paid off handsomely.

The Champagnes of De Castellane

Castellane offers several leading champagnes. First and foremost, the regular Champagne de Castellane Brut and Champagne de Castellane Demi-Sec. The latter is a slightly sweeter version. The Champagne house also has a delicious Rosé. In our opinion, the Castellane Commodore is truly the cream of the crop. This Champagne has a slightly higher percentage of Chardonnay, and the grapes are sourced from the oldest vines. This ensures exceptionally high quality.

Award-winning Champagnes from Castellane

We love Castellane Champagnes. But even the Netherlands' most renowned wine journalist, Harold Hamersma, is quite taken with these Champagnes. The Castellane Brut Vintage received a remarkable 8.5 in Grote Hamersma, the leading reference book for Dutch wine drinkers. A fantastic score, and Castellane Champagne more than deserves it.
