Isn't it a beauty, what a gorgeous bottle! But beyond its beautiful appearance, the taste and aroma are phenomenal! This Rosé is a blend of Grenach Noir, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each of these grape varieties lends its own unique character to this wine.

The rich history of Haut Gleon

You have to navigate numerous twists and turns through rocky terrain and under a blazing sun before suddenly discovering the Vallée du Paradis wine estate. This region, with its favorable climate and generous land, has produced highly acclaimed wines in France and worldwide. Château Haut Gléon covers forty hectares of vines within a 260-hectare area of scrubland and woodland, dominated by thyme and rosemary. The castle was completely renovated in 1991 by the Duhamel family, who have reconstructed a beautiful setting full of history and modernity. Château Haut Gléon boasts a wealth of expertise. Since 2008, the estate has been committed to converting its vineyard to organic farming. The Duhamel family has cultivated its wines with respect for tradition (vintages hand-sorted at the table), while embracing appropriate techniques (computer-controlled stainless steel tanks) and professionals like winemaker Robert Dejean.

The identity of Haut Gleon

This winery has a specific goal in mind when making wine. The identity of the Haut Gléon terroir is central to the blending process. The cellar meets the highest standards for insulation and climate control. After harvest, this interesting blend of grape varieties is traditionally vinified using "Direct Pressure" in an open press. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine is aged for four months in stainless steel vats. Light pink color with hints of peach skin. Intensely fruity aromas dominated by small red berry aromas (currants, raspberries). Fruity flavor, floral notes, with a lovely roundness on the back of the tongue. A remarkable freshness on the finish, making it comparable to a top Provence rosé.
