NOTE: This Magnum bottle is a large one, holding 1.5 liters. Isn't this La Vie en Rose from Château Roubine's Cotes de Provence a stunning rosé? We love the bottle itself, but we can assure you the contents are equally impressive. A rosé made from 50 percent Grenache, 40 percent Cinsault, and 10 percent Syrah. Each grape contributes to this top-notch rosé, as each is uniquely important.

The oldest French winery Roubine

Château Roubine is one of the oldest wineries in France and is located in the heart of the Var region, between Lorgues and Draguignan. In 1953, Château Roubine was awarded Cru Classé status by the Ministry of Agriculture. The estate's name derives from the Provençal word "flood," which refers to the vineyard's natural drainage. This, along with the ideal location and soil, is crucial for producing these high-quality wines. The soil consists primarily of clay and limestone, and the vineyard faces east-west. The current owner, Valerie Rouselle, places great value on environmentally friendly methods, which is why the Château was awarded the "Agriculture Raisonnée" certificate in 2008. The entire vinification process is closely monitored to ensure quality. And this is reflected in the stunning results.

The aromatic taste of La Vie en Rose

The color is salmon pink, which is what we're accustomed to from the Cotes de Provence region. On the nose, this "La Vie en Rose" has hints of freshly mown grass, flowers, old roses, and abundant soft red fruit. The flavor is delightfully aromatic, with a beautiful bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, and lavender, along with a touch of fennel, anise, and grapefruit on the back of the tongue. What a superb rosé, and one that deserves a spot in the running for many awards; despite receiving 87 points from Wine Enthusiast and a gold medal at the competition, it certainly deserves a spot in the running.
