The Cignomoro vineyards are incredibly old. The Matichecchi family bought the estate a hundred years ago. However, due to various circumstances, viticulture never took place there. Until 2001, that is. Grandson Ciro Matichecchi decided to travel to Puglia and transform the estate into a prestigious vineyard. He planted the vines and pursued his passion: winemaking. We can now confidently say that he has more than succeeded.
