The grapes come from the warm Lodi Valley in California, an area that brings out the ripe, dark fruit and spice in Zinfandel. The combination of abundant sunshine and cooling evening breezes creates focus with ample freshness.
How long is this Zinfandel aged in oak? 13 months, in a blend of French and American oak, for rounded tannins and a subtle vanilla spiciness that enhances the fruit. The wine is aged traditionally and bottled in 75cl.
