As the name of this Argentinian winery suggests, these wines have French roots. The winery was founded by the Bousquet family, originally from southern France, near Carcassonne. They first arrived in Argentina in the early 1990s, specifically in Mendoza. The family immediately recognized the potential of this region. In 1997, they decided to relocate the winery to Argentina, and the rest is history: fine Argentinian wines at a reasonable price.

Argentine wines at their best

Domaine Bousuqet is situated on a 110-hectare estate in Tupungato, one of Argentina's most beautiful wine regions. Their vineyards are situated at an altitude of 1200 meters, making Domaine Bousuqet's vineyards among the highest in the world. This altitude has a significant impact on the grapes. They receive a lot of heat during the day, while the nights can cool down considerably. And this, of course, benefits the grapes' growth process.

The award-winning Domaine Bousquet wines

Our oenologists have been impressed with Domaine Bousquet for years. Despite their reasonable prices, the wines are incredibly flavorful and rich. We wouldn't say no to a delicious glass of Domaine Bousquet Malbec. Domaine Bousquet's range is incredibly diverse; they've planted a vast number of grape varieties. Several Domaine Bousquet wines have also received high marks from leading wine journalists. For example, several Domaine Bousquet Reserve wines received a remarkable 91 points from James Suckling. This rating was awarded to wines including Chardonnay, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an exceptionally high score for wines in this price range.

The delicious wines of Domaine Bousquet

Domaine Bousquet's wines are certainly unique. They're particularly good at working with the Malbec grape. Besides their classic wines, Domaine Bousquet also produces a dessert wine with Malbec: the Domaine Bousuqet Malbec Dulce. But the winery offers much more. Consider their "gran wines," which cater to the highest caliber of wines. The Domaine Bousquet Gran Chardonnay and Domaine Bousquet Gran Malbec have been beloved by wine lovers for years.
