Domaine Tortochot, located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy, is a family-owned estate with a rich winemaking tradition stretching back four generations. Under the leadership of Chantal Tortochot, the estate has been fully certified for organic viticulture since 2013, with a strong focus on sustainability and respect for the environment.

Extensive Vineyard Ownership in Prestigious Appellations

With approximately 12 hectares of vineyards, Domaine Tortochot owns plots in some of Burgundy's most renowned appellations. This includes illustrious Grand Cru vineyards such as Clos de Vougeot, Charmes-Chambertin, and Mazis-Chambertin, as well as Premier Cru vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis.

Commitment to Quality and Traditional Vinification

Domaine Tortochot wines are produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are completely destemmed and macerated for 4 to 5 days to maximize flavor extraction. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts, followed by aging in medium-toasted oak barrels. Grand Cru wines are aged in 100% new French oak, Premier Cru wines in 50% new oak, and Village wines in 25% new oak.
