The Devillard family, with its many beautiful vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, is ideally situated for producing high-quality, "ordinary" Burgundy. Moreover, they operate a trading house that sources excellent grapes in these unique wine regions. Le Renard is a blend based on grapes from various vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise, with the Bourgogne Blanc appellation. It is made in a lively style and is therefore fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel. However, the wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation, giving it that characteristic buttery note that characterizes Burgundy's fine white wines. A pure and flavorful Burgundy, clean and full of character.
