Dos Camelidos wines are named after a small llama, the Camelido. This animal was used centuries ago as a means of transport through the Chilean mountains. Camelidos are physically incredibly strong animals with exceptional stamina. They are, therefore, the only animals that have been able to cross the world's hottest and driest desert. The Camelidos carried the small grape vines brought from Europe across this desert to the Colchagua Valley. This is where viticulture in Chile began. It is therefore fitting that the name of Dos Camelidos wine pays tribute to the Camelido. Besides this beautiful tribute, Dos Camelidos wines are also delicious.
