Buy or order Fosso Corno wine

Fosso Corno is a company that, while young, is brimming with ambition. The vineyard (30 hectares, situated on a single hill) was purchased in 2001. The entire vineyard was uprooted in 2002, and partially replanted starting in 2003. The last replanting took place in 2005. Currently, about 20 hectares are productive again. The plantings are primarily Montepulciano, the traditional grape variety of Abruzzo, but some international varieties have also been planted. But the work isn't over yet, they believe. Fosso Corno strives to become the best producer in Abruzzo and is therefore constantly experimenting to further improve the quality of its wine. This begins in the vineyard, with the application of the latest viticultural ideas, and ends in the cellar, when the wine is bottled. Nothing is left to chance. Standing in the vineyard, you can see the Adriatic Sea on one side and the Gran Sasso (literally 'Great Stone') on the other, the highest mountain in the Apennines at approximately 3,000 metres.
