The story of Jacquart Champagne

Jacquart Champagne was actually born out of rebellion. In the mid-20th century, it was primarily the big names that dominated champagne: Veuve Clicquot, Pommery, Taittinger, and of course Moët & Chandon. In 1964, several winegrowers decided to join forces. They wanted to be less dependent on the large houses and show consumers that champagne has much more to offer. This has proven to be a wise move. Jacquart Champagne is now one of the larger wineries in the region and has built an excellent reputation.

Champagne Jacquart started small. But now the entire vineyard area encompasses approximately 800 hectares. A massive amount that many other champagne houses envy.
