Las Condes is an upscale suburb of Santiago, nicknamed Sanhattan by its residents because of its high-rise buildings. However, the wines of the same name come from the Central Valley, an area that boasts distinct seasonal changes: hot and dry in the summer, cold and rainy in the winter. It may seem insignificant, but seasonal changes are crucial for a vineyard to extend the life of the vine, and older vines produce better grapes. The wines under the Las Condes label come from select vineyards whose locations optimally benefit from the abundant sunshine. Las Condes wines are therefore smooth and fruity, with excellent balance.
