Highly distinctive wines with an exuberant essence. That's Lieubeau's wines. Their distinct aroma and flavor make them perfect for gastronomic purposes, such as with shellfish and spicy Asian dishes. The Loire wines from Muscadet
Loire wines have a large fan base worldwide. However, it's primarily the big names like Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, and Menetou-Salon that have a large following. Further downstream, however, you'll also find other beautiful wine villages and regions. How about Touraine or Anjou? Muscadet is also a well-known name from the Loire Valley. Long neglected, it's making a comeback with the arrival of Lieubeau wines. The wines of Lieubeau
Lieubeau Winery is a leading winery in the Loire Valley. Thanks in part to their dedication, Muscadet wines have earned a considerable reputation in the saturated Loire Valley. Although Lieubeau Winery has already celebrated its bicentennial, it remains a family business. It all began in 1816 with Joseph Gregoire Lieubeau. The life of this Loire icon began rather difficultly when he was abandoned on the steps of the Hôtel Dieu in Nantes. He was given the name Lieubeau, which roughly means "Beautiful Place."Although it started out difficult, Joseph had a knack for winemaking and founded his own winery: Lieubeau. More than 200 years later, the winery is still owned by the Lieubeau family. Currently, the vineyards, located near the Maine River, are managed by Pierre & Chantal Lieubeau. Together with their sons, Francois and Vincent, they are revitalizing the untamed Muscadet grape.
