A wine series we've been enjoying for so many years. While they may be simple wines, their execution always delivers what they're supposed to. They offer enjoyment; good conversation; a moment of relaxation. You know what to expect with a glass of Palombe in hand. A refined, no-nonsense wine. No nonsense for these guys. It's no wonder Palombe wines are so popular in the hospitality industry. This is partly due to their versatile nature: from drinks to dinner, Palombe wines always deliver.
The wines from France
For Palombe wines, we travel to the ultimate wine country: France. Our vinologists travel with ease by car. We pass through numerous major names in the wine world, such as Alsace, Champagne, Burgundy, and, of course, the Cotes du Rhone. True Francophiles know we're driving along the Route du Soleil. We're heading to France's largest wine region: Languedoc-Roussillon. For a long time, this wine region had a sour aftertaste (sometimes literally). Now, it's become a stronghold of fine wines at attractive prices; something that has also been the case for Palombe wines.
The wines of Palombe
Palombe's vineyards are located in the Languedoc, the western part of the Languedoc-Roussillon region. It's extremely sunny here and often very dry. Fortunately, however, the Mediterranean Sea is present, providing the vines with much-needed cooling, especially at night. Palombe has planted all the Languedoc's biggest names: Carignan, Grenache Noir de Cinsault, and, of course, Colombard. A beloved grape that, when treated well, is a star in aromatic white wines. A single sip of Palombe Colombard Sauvignon, the best-selling winemaker, leads us to conclude that Palombe's winemaker is a highly talented man.

Besides the white wine, Palombe has two more surprises in store: a red wine and a rosé. We're particularly impressed with the rosé. It's a delicate combination of Cinsault and Grenache Noir, perfectly complemented by the perfect blend to bring out the best in each other. Summery, fruity, and refreshing; that's what a rosé should be, and Palombe Rosé ticks all the boxes.
