This top-quality red wine comes from Puglia and is made from the Sangiovese grape. The Pasqua family has truly the most beautiful vineyards filled with the grapes of southern Italy. The vineyards are located northeast of Sicily, in the province of Erice. The climate there is fantastic; the warm summers, with plenty of sunshine, contribute to the even ripening of the Sangiovese grapes. A fresh breeze from the sea brings a cooling breeze and ensures that the ripening process is not too hasty. This allows the Sangiovese grapes to enjoy the beautiful climate in peace. With deep roots in the limestone and clay-rich subsoil, they can withstand the hot afternoons.

Made with the most modern techniques

In recent years, the Pasqua family has invested heavily in their vineyards and modern winery. This allows them to produce exquisite wines at very attractive prices. When the Sangiovese grapes reach perfect ripeness, they are harvested early in the morning. The grapes arrive in crates and are then inspected on sorting tables, ensuring only the finest bunches are bottled. This red wine is made according to the guidelines of the Indicazione Geografica Tipica, or IGT. This explains the stunning quality, and the taste reflects this.

What does Pasqua Sangiovese Puglia taste like?

The best Sangiovese grapes are grown in southern Puglia, according to Pasqua's winemaker. These grapes receive plenty of sunshine, which enhances the flavor of this Pasqua red wine. This is immediately noticeable on the nose, which is vibrant with aromas of berry, ripe cherry, and a hint of spice. On the palate, this Pasqua Sangiovese is smooth and approachable! Impressions of black cherry, ripe berry, and a touch of spice and vanilla. This red wine is, of course, wonderfully enjoyed on the couch with a good book, but it also pairs well with various dishes such as red meat, pasta, and pork roast.
