What an incredibly beautiful glass of rosé made from Pinot Grigio grapes in the heart of Veneto. Here, Sacchetto's magnificent vineyards are located, and the climate is perfect. With abundant sunshine and cool nights, the growing season is long, and the grapes are hand-selected. The old Pinot Grigio vines produce beautiful bunches perfect for a Blush rosé. The deep roots of the vines allow the grapes to absorb sufficient moisture from the soil, which is essential during the warm afternoons of the growing season. When the Pinot Grigio grapes reach perfect ripeness, they are carefully harvested indoors. This is done early in the harvest to minimize damage to the grapes.

The harvest of the Sacchetto Pinot Grigio Blush

As soon as the harvest is brought in, the Pinot Grigio grapes are gently pressed. The gentle maturation of the skins gives this rosé its beautiful light pink color. According to winemaker Francesco van Sacchetto, this is a unique process and perfectly reflects the style of this beautiful rosé. Because the vineyard and harvest come from the renowned and protected DOC Delle Venezie region, this rosé is pure and exceptionally ripe.
