For this beautiful prosecco, we visit the old vineyards in Montello - Colli Asolani, along Presa No. 3. Here, the Glera grapes for this ripe and especially smooth prosecco grow. But this cultivation doesn't happen automatically; the Prapian winemakers work hard to obtain the best and most beautiful harvests. Nature, of course, plays a role in this, as the warm summers allow the grapes to ripen superbly. The right amount of wind cools the grapes, ensuring a smooth and balanced ripening process.

Filiberto Sacchetto, the owner of this beautiful winery, has the energy of a thirty-year-old, but he is certainly quite old. With a deep love for his homeland, he still produces the finest wines and proseccos, including this Prapian Presa No. 3. In the vineyard, situated at an altitude of three hundred meters, the finest grapes are grown for this prosecco. The soil is primarily mineral, and this is reflected in the beautifully fresh style of this Prapian Prosecco.

The harvest of the Presa No 3 Prosecco

When the grapes reach perfect ripeness, they are harvested early in the morning. This prevents damage to the bunches and preserves their natural freshness. Upon arrival at Prapian, the grapes are inspected again for imperfections. Only the finest bunches are allowed to nourish this Presa No. 3 Prosecco. This is followed by a long aging period of sixteen to twenty months in the Prapian cellars. Bubbles develop peacefully in the bottle, enhancing the pleasure of drinking.

Full and very powerful this Prapian Prosecco

The aroma of this Prapian prosecco evokes notes of apple and acacia, as well as citrus fruit. The taste is a picture, or rather, an Italian fairytale. Very soft on the palate, with fine bubbles that stimulate all your senses, rich flavors of apple, pear, and peach. On the back of the tongue, it also offers a lovely, delicate note of roasted nuts and freshly baked bread. Yes, do you only drink this when there's a party? Absolutely not.
