An Italian we can't get enough of. It's no secret that Italy is a wine country through and through. However, the wines of Tenuta Sant Antonio really take things to the next level. With their Scaia wines at the forefront, they're gradually conquering the world and showcasing the best of Veneto.

Veneto wines from Italy

Tenuta Sant Antonio Winery, best known for its masterful Scaia wines, is located in the beautiful Veneto region. Thousands of Dutch tourists flock to this region each year to enjoy the pure Italian culture, nature, and architecture. But Veneto has another well-known asset: wine. As one of Italy's largest wine regions, Veneto boasts many resounding names such as Valpolicella, Prosecco, and Amarone. But once you've experienced Tenuta Sant Antonio's wines, Scaia will become your favorite Veneto wine.

The wines of Tenuta Sant Antonio

Tenuta Sant Antonio was born from a close-knit family. It all began in the late 1980s. Four brothers from the Castagnedi family, Armando, Paolo, Tiziano, and Massimo, decided to join forces and establish a winery. They had already developed a love of wine from an early age, and in 1989, they decided to put it into practice. Just outside the cultural city of Verona, the brothers decided to purchase a vineyard and put their love and knowledge of wine into practice. More than thirty years later, Tenuta Sant Antonio wines are more popular than ever, thanks in large part to their flagship wine, Scaia Bianco.

Tenuta Sant Antonio now covers an impressive 50 hectares, situated at altitudes of up to 320 meters. The vineyards are remarkably rich in chalk. This has a significant impact on the grape varieties, making them exceptionally aromatic. This is also the case for the Garganega and Chardonnay grapes, which are used in the best-selling wine: Scaia Bianco.
