What a fantastic winery from Vento, Cantina Valpantena! They are the makers of this red Torre del Falasco Corvina. A unique collaboration between several winegrowers and their own plots. Cantina Valpantena is a cooperative of 270 affiliated winegrowers, with 750 hectares of vineyards at their disposal. The name comes from the bandit Falasco, who rampaged through the valley around 1600 and hid in the hamlet of Stallavena. History is very important to the Torre del Falasco winery; with these wines, they reflect their long winemaking history and allow us to enjoy the beauty of the region.

The harvest of the Corvina grape

In central Veneto lie several vineyards where the Corvina grape is grown. The pleasant climate, with abundant sunshine and ample space for the cool breeze, provides the bunches with everything they need. The soil is a treasure trove for this red wine; the vines have deep roots and can easily absorb moisture and nutrients from the soil. After a long and balanced growing season in Veneto, the bunches are harvested at night. This way, the Corvina retains its freshness and is well-suited for transport to Torre del Falasco.
