The technology of alcohol-free wines has made enormous strides in recent years, making today's wines far better than ever before. This is also the case with this version from Torres, perhaps Spain's finest winery. They were true pioneers on the Iberian Peninsula. After many innovations, the winemakers felt it was time for a superb alcohol-free wine.

The Muscat grapes in this wine from Torres

The base of this white alcohol-free wine is the Muscat grape. This is a generous, fragrant grape with a rich flavor. The grape grows on perhaps the sunniest vineyards owned by Torres. First, a "normal" wine is made. Then, the alcohol is extracted from the wine using a specific technique, a vacuum. However, the aroma and flavor of this Torres Natureo are preserved. The label states that the wine may contain a maximum of 0.5% alcohol. This is the legal designation of alcohol-free wine. This is because this wine once contained alcohol, as it has indeed been fermented.

Even though this wine is alcohol-free, it's still a pleasure with every sip. You can drink this wine even if you're the designated driver.
