The leading winery Tramin

In the beautiful and historic Alto Adige wine region, we find the Tramin winery. Located in the far north of Italy, this winery is named after the town of Tramin. It was founded in 1898 by a group of winegrowers who joined forces. It has since become one of the leading wineries in the region. Together, they own the best locations in the region, where the grapes enjoy the most favorable conditions. This allows them to produce superb wines that are loved worldwide. The Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes are planted at an altitude of between 250 and 550 meters on clay and gravel soil. The climate is excellent, allowing the grapes to ripen perfectly. When they reach optimal ripeness, they are carefully harvested. After harvesting, they spend a short time on the skins in the winery, after which they are gently pressed into steel tanks. Fermentation also takes place in these tanks at a controlled temperature, allowing the wine to further develop its characteristic aromas and flavors. Finally, the wine is aged for several months in steel tanks to achieve a balanced flavor.
