Beautifully situated against the foothills of the Apennines, at an altitude ranging from 150 to 450 meters above sea level, lies Valle Reale. This unique location produces a very different style of Abruzzo wine than we're used to. Most wines come from the warm coastal region with rich soil, often resulting in (over)ripe wines. Valle Reale's high altitude, combined with its very stony, sandy soil, produces fresh, fruity, and minerally wines. The vineyards are located in the heart of a national park where wolves and bears still roam freely. It goes without saying that Valle Reale operates exclusively organically.
