Vanita wines showcase Italy at its very best. They are produced by the massive Fantini cooperative, known for its wines with excellent value for money. Always good and never disappointing. So choose Vanita wines.

Sicilian wines from Italy

Vanita Winery operates in several regions of Italy. Its base is on the large island of Sicily. This island has a rich and long history, with viticulture as a common thread throughout. Thanks in large part to its unique climate of warm days and refreshing nights, the wine industry thrives. For a long time, Sicilian wines were dull and uninspiring, but that era is now far behind us. Vanita cultivates the island's most important grape in Sicily: Nero d'Avola. It has a spicy, intense flavor with a semi-powerful finish.

The Vanita wines from Italy

Vanita also boasts impressive vineyards in another region. We're heading back to the mainland, towards the Adriatic Coast. Familiar to countless tourists, but in our opinion, primarily known for its wine, Abruzzo. This sparsely populated region is a sight to behold: abundant greenery, abundant nature, and magnificent vistas. Winemaking here was nearly extinct, but in recent decades it has been recovering. Thanks in part to the tireless efforts of the wonderful Vanita.

The wines of Vanita

In Abruzzo, Vanita has planted a key grape variety: Pecorino. Not to be confused with the Abruzzo cheese of the same name. Pecorino is the universally popular Italian wine; refreshing, green, and with a lovely acidity. It also boasts plenty of tropical fruit and a hint of balsamic acid. Vanita Pecorino is therefore a glass of wine you can always enjoy.

If you prefer something more robust, choose Vanita's red wines. Besides the classic Nero d'Avola, the winery has another ace up its sleeve: Vanita Appassite Sicilia Nero D'Avola. This wine is particularly similar to Amarone. Here too, the thick, full clusters of Nero D'Avola grapes are first dried before being pressed. The result is a full-bodied red wine with exceptional depth.
