Zenato was founded by Sergio Zenato in the small village of San Benedetto, just west of Peschiera Del Garda. This forms the southernmost point of the Logo di Garda. Sergio, together with his equally ambitious wife, Carla, wanted to produce the finest wines of Veneto. By combining modern techniques with the cultivation of local and historic varieties, we can now say, more than 60 years after its founding, that this has been achieved. The second generation is now at the helm of this immense winery. Alberto and Nadia continue the Zenato family traditions and now export their wines to over 60 countries. The Zenato wine from Veneto
Zenato has vineyards throughout Veneto, even in the most beautiful parts of the Valpolicella region. The vineyards boast a wide range of primarily native grape varieties, but the Zenato family is progressive and doesn't shy away from planting varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. With their first grape, they create their iconic white wine, Zenato S. Cristina Chardonnay Garda. For the rest, it's mainly Italian: Pinot Grigio, Trebbiano, Corvina, Garganega, Molinara, and Rondinella. Everything can be found in the vineyards. By planting the grapes in precisely the right places, Zenato wines become heavenly. From fresh sensations like Zenato Soave Classico and Zenato Pinot Grigio, to distinctive wines like Zenato Ripassa Della Valpolicella.
The finest wines from Zenato
Another striking feature of Zenato's wines is their affordable prices. Every sip is more than worth the money; such a high price-quality ratio is rare. Zenato also boasts some crown jewels in its range. Its Amarone wine, made from dried grapes, is phenomenal. The absolute pinnacle is the Zenato Amarone Riserva. Anyone looking for a brilliant white wine from Zenato will find the Zenato Lugana Riserva Sel. Sergio, produced on the southern shores of Lake Garda, a white wine that perfectly showcases the winemaking talent that Zenato has passionately cultivated for six decades.Buy or order Zenato wine
