The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

This white wine, Donnaluce, from the Poggio Le Volpi winery, wins award after award. And it's no wonder, because it's truly delicious. Donnaluce is made from Malvasia, Greco, and Chardonnay grapes from the Monteporzio Catone region. The grapes are carefully hand-picked and then aged in oak, and you can clearly tell the difference in this Donnaluce! It is an authentic white Italian wine marketed by the Italian winery Poggio Le Volpi, which has been a leading producer of wines in Lazio, the large wine region surrounding Rome, for many years. Founded in 1996 by Felice Mergé, the winery's philosophy is to create wines that emphasize the richness of the land and its knowledge of the vines. This philosophy is the result of years of family experience in the winemaking world and is based on a particularly attentive style of winemaking. Respect for the territory, mastery of the winemaking process, always focused on respecting and enhancing the richness of the land.

It's a wine with a story. This white wine is dedicated to women. The label features an old brooch worn by aristocrats. The Donnaluce is made from three grape varieties, the main ones being two typical Italian ones. It's composed of sixty percent Malvasia del Lazio and thirty percent Greco. Ten percent of these are complemented by Chardonnay. After harvest, the grapes undergo modern vinification, after which the wine is aged traditionally in oak barrels in the Poggio Le Volpi cellars.

On the nose, a broad bouquet of tropical fruit and floral aromas creates an unforgettable impression. The palate is full and powerful, with beautiful, rich flavors of tropical fruit, vanilla, yellow cream, oak, and a hint of spice and passion fruit. A truly intense wine with a full, thick structure! What class.
