Each person is responsible for a different area of expertise. Christoph is Durnberg's oenological brain. Matthias understands the winemaking process and knows each wine inside and out. Georg Klein is the marketing genius. Together, they are invincible and master the finest Austrian wines. When you think of Austrian wines, you immediately think of just one grape: Gruner Veltliner. It dominates almost all of Austria's vineyards. It is the epitome of flavorful Austrian wines and the quality that comes with them. Uniquely, Gruner Veltliner is rarely found anywhere else besides its Austrian origins. This allows us to truly say that Gruner Veltliner is Austria's national pride. The smell and taste of Durnberg Tradition Gruner Veltliner Weinviertel
With this white wine, Durnberg wanted to pay tribute to the beloved Gruner Veltliner. They wanted to show what this grape can do, given the right attention. It all begins in the Durnberg vineyards, near the village of Falkenstein in the Wienviertel wine region. Because the vineyards are relatively high, the daytime temperatures can be quite warm, while nights, without exception, cool down considerably. These temperature fluctuations all benefit the Gruner Veltliner grapes. The grapes for Durnberg Tradition Gruner Veltliner Weinviertel are harvested by hand; only the finest grapes are allowed to be used in this white wine. By allowing the lees to mature until spring, this Durnberg wine truly develops its own character. An impressive glass of wine, a perfect introduction to the Gruner Veltliner. A vibrant aroma greets your nose as soon as you unscrew the bottle cap. You discover exotic fruits like papaya and mango. A refreshing herb adds a touch of excitement to the taste of Durnberg Tradition Gruner Veltliner Weinviertel. The rich minerals on the palate make this Austrian wine a true all-rounder. A favorite for Gruner Veltliner enthusiasts.Product details
