Taste the Sun in every Sip: 12th Mezzo Primitivo del Salento
After a careful pressing, the 12 e Mezzo Primitivo is expertly aged. But beware! Cosimo Varvaglione has a magical sense of timing, maintaining the alcohol content at precisely 12.5% – hence the name of this wine: 12 e Mezzo literally means twelve and a half. This wine is a symphony of aromas: think rich black fruits, spicy notes, and hints of chocolate and licorice. The palate is a beautiful melody of ripe cherries, currants, and blackberries, accompanied by notes of cocoa, vanilla, and wood.
