Maison Régnard is an old Chablis winery in Burgundy, founded in 1860. It is one of the last Chablis wineries with all its cellars in the historic city center, a testament to its noble past. It was acquired in 1984 by Baron Patrick Ladoucette, who took over the winery and continued to perpetuate and refine the style and typical character of the wines. The vinification of Regnard Chablis Grand Regnard

The grapes for Régnard Chablis Grand Régnard come from vineyards approximately 30 years old, planted in clay and limestone soils from the late Jurassic period. Harvesting is carried out by hand, and the grapes are gently pressed upon arrival in the cellar. They then ferment and undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks to slightly reduce acidity and impart a touch of lactic acid. Finally, the wine is aged on the lees for twelve months. This gives the wine abundant fruit and suppleness, along with refined acidity. The aroma is intense and refined; tropical fruit, apple, white peach, nuts, and an elegant citrus note. The palate offers excellent freshness and a beautiful balance with abundant fruit, generous and minerally, citrusy notes.
