In the rugged and breathtaking landscape of Mendoza, Argentina, Alpasion proudly presents its latest masterpiece: the Grand Pinot Noir. This wine is a gem within Alpasion's already impressive range of premium wines.
High-quality Pinot Noir grapes
Born from the rich soils of the Uco Valley, at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level, the Alpasión Grand Pinot Noir tells the story of this region's unique landscape. The vineyards are carefully cultivated, using advanced pruning and irrigation techniques, contributing to the quality and intensity of the Pinot Noir grapes. Thanks to eight-year-old vines planted closely together in sandy loam and stony soils, this Pinot Noir achieves a remarkable level of ripeness and concentration.
The Alpasión Grand Pinot Noir is crafted with great care and dedication under the guidance of winemakers Ezequiel Manoni and Karim Mussi Saffie, emphasizing Alpasión's commitment to quality and innovation. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected on a sorting table. They are then destemmed and fermented in small stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts. This process includes cold pre-fermentation and gentle pumping over, enhancing the grape's natural aromas and flavors. Finally, the wine is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels, adding another layer of complexity and elegance.
