One of Andeluna's three royal wines, this Pasionado Malbec is crafted from the finest Malbec grapes from Mendoza. After being hand-harvested, this Pasionado Malbec Andeluna is aged for 18 to 24 months in oak barrels. It is then bottle-aged in the Andeluna cellars. This rest allows the flavors and aromas of the Malbec grape to fully develop.

The quality of Andeluna at 1300 meters altitude

Andeluna Winery is located at the foot of the Andes in Tupungato, Mendoza. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 1,300 meters—a picture often described as touching the sky. The modern winery is surrounded by 70 hectares of premium vineyards. The perfect combination of premium, sometimes very old, vines, and the optimal climate and soil conditions of Argentina result in exquisite, high-quality wines. In addition to these ingredients, the winery also utilizes the latest technologies. For example, the vineyards are equipped with a drip irrigation system, ensuring the plants receive the precise amount of water they need. Andeluna wines are made from hand-picked grapes by winemaker Silvio Alberto, among others, who was awarded "Outstanding Young Oenologist of the Year."

A Malbec with great body and round tannins

The taste is unparalleled, so full and powerful, with all the beautiful characteristics of the Malbec grape. It is characterized by its intense red color with purple reflections. The aroma is almost indescribable. Complex aromas of ripe red, sweet, and floral fruit, with the typical Malbec violets prominent. But also vanilla, plums, pepper, biscuit, cedar, wood, and tobacco. The oak aging gives it delicate notes of vanilla and tobacco with light hints of white chocolate. It is a structured wine with a wonderful body, featuring round and sweet tannins.
