Franciacorta from Bellavista is one of the three best sparkling wines from Lombardy, Italy, and we can only say it's top-notch! What a beautiful glass of Franciacorta this is. A magnificent sparkling wine with an open and invigorating flavor and a lovely mousse.
 The vineyards of Bellavista

In 1977, the Bellavista winery was founded by a wealthy Brescia industrialist, Vittorio Moretti, who saw the great potential of this wine region. Today, the winery boasts 117 hectares of its own vineyards, largely planted with the grape varieties used for its sparkling wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Nero. All grapes are hand-picked and processed. All sparkling wines are made in the same way as Champagne, using old wooden presses. Forty percent is aged in oak barrels. Mattia Vezzola, the winemaker, possesses the talent to realize Moretti's unique ideas. He possesses the quality that allows him to produce wines that excel in pure concentration, without sacrificing elegance.

At Bellavista, even the "regular" Cuvée Brut receives the treatment of a grand sparkling wine. Thirty months of bottle aging, slow pressing of the grapes, and hand-turning the bottles to remove the yeast cells give this wine unparalleled class. The palate is open and invigorating, with a beautiful mousse.
