This Rosé is made of 62 percent Chardonnay and 38 percent Pinot Noir. A sparkling wine where the structure of the former meets the grace of the latter.
The sparkling wines of Bellavista
In 1977, the Bellavista winery was founded by a wealthy Brescia industrialist, Vittorio Moretti, who saw the great potential of this wine region. Today, the winery boasts 117 hectares of its own vineyards, largely planted with the grape varieties used for its sparkling wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Nero. All grapes are hand-picked and processed. All sparkling wines are made in the same way as Champagne, using old wooden presses. Forty percent is aged in oak barrels. Mattia Vezzola, the winemaker, possesses the talent to realize Moretti's unique ideas. He possesses the quality that allows him to produce wines that excel in pure concentration, without sacrificing elegance.
This Cuvée is produced with the utmost care and according to Bellavista's strictest standards, blending thirty separate vintages. These selections are fermented separately, with some aged in small white oak barrels. This enhances the intensity. The rosé is produced in very limited quantities. The wine is aged for at least five years in the Bellavista cellars before the vintage is released.
A Rose with fruity aromas
This enchanting rosé sparkling wine boasts abundant, long-lasting bubbles. This aromatic Bellavista rosé reveals aromas of white peach, wild strawberries, citrus fruits, golden delicious apples, and a hint of toasted bread. A beautifully balanced sparkling wine. On the palate, the wine is austere, fresh, dry, and simultaneously captivating. A combination of tautness and tension alternate. The flavor is reminiscent of blackberries, almonds, and a hint of blackcurrant.
