This new red wine from Dominio de Punctum is undoubtedly one of the finest from the Fernández Cifuentes family. This Terra Firma Winery, a family winery through and through, produces this superb Garnacha. The winery saw its first fermentation in 2005 and is actually still relatively young. But Dominio de Punctum has already made several major strides in the Spanish wine world and is known for its pioneering spirit. The name Dominio de Punctum literally means "estate at the crossroads." The winery is located in Las Pedroñeras, at the intersection of the cities of Cuenca, Ciudad Real, and Albacete.

The label states "Single Vineyard Made With Organic Grapes." And we can tell you, our expectations are high. But this red wine will surely exceed all your expectations. The vineyard is located in IGP Bajo Aragón at an altitude of 500 meters, a crucial elevation for the development of the Garnacha grapes. The warm afternoons are followed by the cool breeze that blows across the mountains and through the vineyards. The sharp drop in nighttime temperatures also allows for unique development of the bunches, making it possible to work completely organically in the vineyards. Mold and bacteria simply don't stand a chance in the cool climate. All bunches are harvested by hand, ensuring only the finest are used in this top-notch wine.

Full and very powerful this Belsetan Single Vineyard Garnacha

The name Belsetán refers to a local dialect in Aragon: only 30 inhabitants still speak it. The juice is of excellent quality and, in the glass, reveals a beautiful cherry-red color with a purple rim. We quickly detected the most beautiful aromas of this red wine. We noted nuances of violets, ripe cherries, and strawberries, combined with spices like cinnamon and pepper. The palate is soft and very full. A bit enchanting, with hints of black fruit such as cherries and blackberries. On the back of the palate, some violets and laurel make it very exciting. The finish is smooth, like falling into a warm bed.
