It's part of Oak Ridge Winery's distinctive Blazon series, which emphasizes the influence of oak and craftsmanship. Six months of aging in French oak gives this Pinot Noir not only juicy fruit notes but also a subtle vanilla note and elegant structure. A distinctly Californian style with crisp acidity and a velvety roundness.

Vineyards and region

The grapes are sourced from the Lodi region of California, where warm days and cool nights ensure optimal ripening while maintaining freshness. This balance of sun and cool weather produces wines with ripe fruit, bright acidity, and an elegant structure. Oak Ridge Winery operates from its historic family vineyards, with a focus on sustainability, biodiversity, and responsible water use.

Vinification and maturation

After careful vinification, the wine is aged for six months in 100% French oak. This aging softens the tannins and adds refined notes of vanilla and spice. This aging beautifully brings out the elegant, spicy side of Pinot Noir, combined with the ripe fruit of the blend.
