La Font del Mosquit is a white wine sourced from several farms in Torroja del Priorat. The estate features diverse soil types, including slate, clay-limestone, and alluvium. The Macabeu vines, which are up to a hundred years old, are cultivated using sustainable practices and are organically certified.
The unique flavors of Bodega Bravo
Winemaker Pep Aguilar creates unique flavors by striking the perfect balance between power and elegance. With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, including years of travel as a wine consultant and working with wineries across Spain in diverse conditions, he has developed an unparalleled understanding of various elements and soils. Priorat, one of Spain's smaller wine regions with its rich and intense quality, caught his attention and is considered his most interesting project. Luis Bravo's winery is located in the heart of this region, near Torroja del Priorat, and surrounded by a rugged and untamed landscape. The terroir, with volcanic soil and slate known as llicorella, is accentuated by the blazing sun, cool sea breezes, humidity, and mountain mist. This results in unique conditions for growing grapes with depth and character.
To make this wine, the Macabeu grapes from the old vines are macerated on their skins for 12 hours before being pressed. The younger Macabeu and Garnatxa white grapes are pressed directly. The must undergoes spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is completed and further aging takes place in polyethylene eggs.

La Font del Mosquit reflects the complex soils in which it is grown. The nose reveals subtle aromas of citrus and anise, characteristic of the vineyards' graphite slate soil. The palate is soft and full-bodied, with fresh citrus notes and floral accents that give the wine a vibrant character.
