Bodega Bravo Escos Les Camades

Several estates form the basis for this Les Camades. The various grape varieties originate from a unique terrain around the village of Torroja del Priorat. The soil consists of slate combined with clay and limestone. The vines were planted about thirty years ago and are now cultivated according to sustainable agriculture. This Les Camades wine is a blend of Carginacn and Grenache Noir, complemented by Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Perfect conditions for Bravo wines

Bodega Bravo is located in the heart of the Priorat region and was founded by Luis Bravo. The landscape surrounding the winery is rugged but above all incredibly beautiful. The vineyards are situated on small plateaus nestled between steep slopes. The grapes enjoy abundant, especially hot sunshine, but combined with the cool sea breeze and the humidity and mist from the mountains, they benefit from a unique climate. This allows the vines to develop a character with unparalleled depth of flavor. The grape varieties are harvested and vinified separately. First, the grapes are placed in special plastic tanks for fermentation. This process involves natural yeasts, with the must remaining in contact with the skins for 8 to 14 days. The wine then matures for 14 months in terracotta pots and French oak barrels. The wine is then blended, and then it's time to enjoy.

The wine is cherry red in color with bluish edges. The nose initially reveals notes of black and red fruit, such as blackberries, wild strawberries, and black plums. This is followed by aromatic herbs from the region, such as lavender, rosemary, and thyme. These delightful spicy notes are also evident in the fresh and rounded palate. A mouth-filling wine that is delightfully juicy. The acidity is beautifully balanced and carries through to the long finish.
