Miut is a new project from the Toro Albala winery. It guarantees high-quality wines. The grapes come from vineyards in Montilla Alto and Sierre de Montilla. Despite being an innovative project, tradition is central. Over the years, the winery has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, which is culminated in this project. This El Jabonero is a prime example of what this winery brings to the market. A fresh yet spicy wine with a pleasant body.

Wines from the Pedro Ximenez grape

This family business was founded in 1922 by Jose Maria Toro Albala. Over the years, the winery has grown and continued to develop its position in the wine market. So well, in fact, that its many wines are now a staple on many wine lists. In the early years, the winery focused on wines that needed to be aged for extended periods to enhance their elegance. At the time, this was a significant risk due to the economic crisis. But courage and passion turned this bold idea into a resounding success. They now specialize in the Pedro Ximenez grape. Originally, it was a grape capable of reaching such a high sugar content that it was primarily used for sherries and sweet wines. But now, they also make beautiful dry wines like this one.

7 months of aging for Toro Albala Miut El jabonero

In this case, the vines are planted in a soil of gravel and limestone. A unique terroir that certainly leaves its mark on the aroma and flavor. After a careful harvest, a strict selection follows in the cellar. Pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks follow. Finally, the wine is aged on the lees for seven months, allowing it to further develop all its beautiful characteristics. A pale wine with golden glints. This is how the Miut El jabonero appears in the glass. The aroma is fresh with citrus notes and aromatic herbs. The palate is also delightfully fresh and smooth with a nice volume. The fresh flavors continue into the pleasant finish.
