Bolla Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC
A fresh, vibrant wine that captures the essence of northeastern Italy. This Pinot Grigio from Bolla combines tradition with modern winemaking techniques, resulting in a wine that is both accessible and full of character.
Vineyards and region – hills and alluvial soils
The grapes for this wine come from hilly vineyards in the Delle Venezie region, located in northeastern Italy. The soils are alluvial, rich in limestone, potassium, and magnesium, and well-drained. This combination produces grapes with an excellent balance of freshness and aromatic intensity.
Vinification and maturation – preserving freshness and fruit
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for three weeks. The wine remains on the fine lees for as long as possible to develop additional complexity and structure. Malolactic fermentation is not used, which preserves the natural acidity.
Grape composition
Pinot Grigio.
Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow in color. The nose reveals aromas of peach, melon, pear, and lime. The palate is light and refreshing, with a long, lingering finish.
