Description
Bolla Soave Classico DOC
Soave as it was meant to be. Bolla has been making wine in this region for over a century and knows exactly how to combine freshness, elegance, and character in a single glass. This Soave Classico is the perfect example: lively, precise, and easy to drink.
Vineyards and region – the heart of Soave Classico
The vineyards are situated on volcanic and limestone soils in the original Soave Classico region, east of Verona. Here, the grapes benefit from a cool microclimate and a long growing season, resulting in fresh fruit, a mineral note, and refined acidity.
Vinification and maturation – sur lie and ripe grapes
The wine undergoes a brief cold maceration to preserve aromas and freshness. Then, some of the wine is aged "sur lie" for added depth. Finally, a small amount of wine from very ripe grapes is added to give the blend more body and complexity.
Grape composition
90% Garganega, 10% Trebbiano di Soave.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow with a hint of lemon. Aromas of citrus, pear, and a hint of honey. Fresh and elegant on the palate with a slightly spicy finish. Perfectly balanced.
Serving suggestions
Pairs perfectly with Mediterranean dishes, seafood pizza, or baked fish. Serve between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.
Special detail
Not an official award, but it is Frank Sinatra's favorite wine. He reportedly wouldn't eat at a restaurant where this Soave wasn't on the menu.
