A magnum bottle of Bollinger's rosé variety, the bottle holds 1.5 liters and is a beautiful sight to behold. This Bollinger MAGNUM Rosé Champagne comes in a beautiful gift box. For Bollinger's Rosé Variant, red wine is made annually from a portion of the Pinot Noir grapes, which is then added to the rosé Champagne to give it its color and characteristics. Bollinger uses very few Pinot Noir grapes, only five percent, which gives it its full attack and a light pink color, characteristic of Bollinger's rosé Champagne.

A special blend for the Bollinger Rosé

This Champagne is made from a blend of 62 percent Pinot Noir, 24 percent Chardonnay, and 14 percent Pinot Meunier. Each grape variety lends its own distinctive character to this exceptional rosé. More than 85 percent of the grapes come from Grands and Premiers Crus in the Champagne region, supplemented with red wine from Bollinger's own Côte aux Enfants vineyards in Aÿ. The grapes are selected entirely by hand. After arriving at Bollinger, the grapes are gently pressed and aged separately in old wooden barrels. Once the wine is fully fermented and filtered, it is used to transform the Special Cuvée Brut into a rosé. Five percent Pinot Noir is then added to this blend.

What does Bollinger Rosé taste like?

Patience is essential for a delicious Champagne. The Champagne is aged for a full thirty months in Bollinger's cellars, twice as long as required. But Bollinger does this precisely to create its own signature Champagne, and they've certainly succeeded! The color is a soft pink with a purple shimmer. The aroma reveals abundant red fruit, such as strawberries, raspberries, and cherries. And let's not forget the peach and roasted nuts at the back of the nose. The taste is truly beautiful, with its soft mousse (bubbles) and ripe notes of fresh red fruit. We also detected hints of wild berries and grapefruit on the back of the tongue. A classy rosé Champagne, that's all we can say.
