By Ott Rosé Côtes de Provence
By Ott Rosé is the signature wine of Domaines Ott, one of Provence's most iconic wineries. Crafted at Château de Selle, this wine reflects the essence of the region: refinement, fruity freshness, and a pure style based on craftsmanship and respect for the terroir.
Vineyards and region – Mediterranean influences and own vineyards
The grapes come from both our own vineyards and from partner winegrowers within the AOC Côtes de Provence. The soils are rich in limestone and clay, and the climate is a blend of continental freshness and Mediterranean warmth. Thanks to mild rain in the spring and warm, dry summers with cool nights, the grapes ripened slowly and evenly. This resulted in healthy bunches with aromatic finesse and beautiful acidity.
Vinification and maturation – precision and elegance at Château de Selle
Vinification and blending take place entirely on the estate itself. After gentle pressing, the grapes are vinified separately at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit, freshness, and minerality. The result is a balanced rosé with elegance and ageing potential.
